Holy Smokes!

Thank you all for the well wishes!! I'm feeling a bit better. I think that being sick has really helped keep me focused on the one thing that keeps me sitting still - scrapbooking!

Here's a page I created yesterday. This took me nearly FOUR HOURS! While that's not a long time to many avid scrappers, it's a loooong time for me. I usually crank out a page in 15-30 minutes. Granted, I'm not the extraction queen or anything, so that saves me time.

Anyway, I wanted to show off my 4 hour page and encourage you to keep your eyes peeled for the template.

Giving My All

Hello Friends,

Today was the first day in a long time that I was moved to give my scrapbooking my all. I'm not feeling well, and I don't have a voice, but boy did I crank out some pages, template, and treats.

Let me tell you a little about what I do with alllll my digi kits. I'm a memory keeper first. I scrapbook to keep a journal for each of my children. I want them to have their memories preserved. After that, my scrapbooking is about all the amazing wonderful designers I work for. These ladies are amazing. Finally, I scrap to show of EVERY KIT that I purchase. Every designer I buy from (and many many more) is super talented, and I Love showing off their products with my photos.

As for working with designers, I am on the store Creative Team, CT, for Plain Digital Wrapper, which means that I get to work with EVERY DESIGNER there! This is a great bunch of fun. I also work for 2 of the designers on their personal creative teams. I'm on the team for Paste Optional Designs, the first CT spot I ever got. I also work for Dani's Delusions. That was an accident, and I am really glad it happened. Being on Dani's team means that I work with her Plain Digital Wrapper kits AND her Sunshine Studio Scraps kits. WOW, what a wonderful job I have! I have had many many laughs with these gals, and can't imagine what it would be like if we ended up in the same room together.

I also work for another design team. I was one of the lucky ones to be chosen to stay with Viva Artistry after their last guest CT call. They are over at TheDigiChick! That's where I bought my very first digital kit!

Vivienne and Vanessa are wonderfully talented women who manage to work thousands of miles from each other and STILL put out awesome quality stuff. That's not why I work with them, though. Yes, I LOVE their kits, but more than that, they are NICE! The rest of the CT is NICE. It's just NICE to work with people you like! I can't believe that ViVa Artistry is only celebrating the 1st Anniversary of the team! They design like they've been doing it forever!

Desktop Challenge

I entered the July Desktop Challenge over at Scrapbook Graphics. I chose Into the Twilight by Flergs to complete my emtry. It's sized 1920x1080 for Matt's desktop and looks superb on that 40" monitor.
